The light is coming from a flashligh, meaning that the power supply is off. So there is no real danger in what he is doing...

You can't possibly determine if the power supply is off or on purely based on the use of a flashlight, and the human race is generally filled with idiots, so logic leans more toward the probability that the power is still on.
