Before I say this, understand that I support the people in our military. However, I do not support the current war or any of the politicians behind them. Military people have not given up their freedom because they chose to enlist. Last time I checked, there wasn't a draft any time recently. Now then, just to point this out. Yes, we do have a lot of freedoms in the US. However, there are other countries with our same freedoms. Actually, there are countries with all our freedoms and more and on top of that these countries are not in the economic trouble our country is in. Our country is run by businesses and politicians, who are often corrupted. The military does what the politicians who represent our government say, and those politicians often make ridiculous choices. That's on their shoulders, not our military's. Our 9/11 retaliation was a good thing, we needed to do that. However, that was ten years ago and we never found any "weapons of mass destruction". This war isn't about 9/11 any more. At least that's my view on things.

Unfortunately there are alot of army folk that look like that dude, regular army/national guard/reserve ect. When all you have to do is get a profile and be buddy buddy with whom-ever does the wieght and tape for you thats how you can stay in and be a fat-ass. Your a disgrace to yourself, unit, and your branch of service. Why they are still allowed to serve and not meet the basic soldiering standards is beyond me. I blame their chain of command and the so-called nco's. I say so-called because a real NCO wouldn't allow them to still be in. Everyone wants to be an Astronaut but not everyone is. Same goes for being a Soldier. If you can't pass the standards then your not a Soldier and its time to get out and try something else. I have nothing personal against anyone who can't make the standards but their there for a reason!

only reason i did join the army was bcuz all of the jobs were being taken away i had a good paying job and was laid off with a bunch of other ppl, and further more bush can go to hell him and his whole family we were at war when his father was in office and we went back when his punk ass got in office, i didnt vote for him for two terms cuz i knew once he got in office we were going to war for some f*cking oil and whatever else they had us over there for, i love my country but not the politicians who run it, the government knew how to get nmbrs for this war and they did as a result i was one of those ppl who had to come in bcuz there arent anymore jobs, i agree with lizard man whoever he is more crap happens to us by our own government than some third world country we to advanced for that to jus happen without us knowing, wake the f*ck up ppl
