DX/DY is a calculus term that is a derivative of "y" with respect to "x" and so basically this picture has nothing to do with the caption on it(i googled this crap bc u were too lazy to lol)
I know what a derivative is. In fact, since I'm a grad student in physics, I probably know more about that stuff than either of you douchebags ever will...
I was wondering what a derivative has to do with a woman lying on a table with what appears to be a wand in her hands (hence my thought that it had something to do with Harry Potter). Now I know that the person who made this poster is just a moron who thinks they're funny, but is just stupid. Probably like both of you noobs. And by the way Trolltron, you post on so many of these things I'd say you're this site's biggest moron... so judge not lest ye be judged.
With my dual undergrad degrees in bioinformatics and neuroscience, my masters in medical sciences, and my current medical school training, I've never even heard of calculus before.
And I was commenting on the creator being an idiot, I never said you were... just that your explanation was wrong. So, get off your high horse and learn to take a joke.
People always forget that my name is Trolltron... almost everything I say is to get a reaction out of people... and it works.
I also have a dual bachelors--in Mathematical Physics and Pure Mathematics. I'm now a graduate student in physics and can perform differentiation on a 10th dimensional manifold in string theory. So when I say I probably know more than you ever will, I mean it.
For example, you'll never have to use Lebesgue integration or any sort of rigorously defined mathematical operator (or operator formalism) in the heavily computer oriented Bioinformatics, and anyone who knew anything about that subject would agree with me. It's not that I don't respect the discipline--as an undergraduate I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to help a friend of mine do some programming for a simulation in Bioinformatics, and I will say that the combinatorics associated with it can be very complex--but some of the esoteric extensions of calculus are not seen in it like they are in modern physics and the higher mathematics.
But I guess it's moot now. I don't want you to think I'm a bad guy or I hate you or anything--I try not to hate anyone--but I wanted to let you know just what I meant. It probably doesn't make any difference (this is the internet after all) but I'm weird on the topic of science and math.
friends, with my radiating intellect as a high school graduate, i see that the amount of one's schooling has no direct effect on there level of intelligence. all these degrees and no one bit of common sense.... or maybe your retarded (literally) sense of humor incapacitates you ability to unlock the mystery of humor. perhaps there is an equation that can help you with that....noob

Slut like that probably has Hogwarts.
=D
maybe I'm an idiot, but I don't get it...
what is dx/dy --a derivative? something that has to do with Harry Potter?
Picture > 10 words. get over it.
started my morning off right lol
@A dog and everybody else who doesn't know

Yeah... that's completely wrong. Yes, DX/DY is calculus... and yes, it is a derivative...
But they mean the actual word derivative, meaning something derived... to reach or obtain by reasoning.
So them saying they're "assuming" it is her, is supposed to be funny... because the creator isn't using derivative logic.
In summary: The person who made this poster thinks they are smart and ended up just confusing the morons that frequent this site.
Eat your vegetables.
@scarr3d and Trolltron

Oh Dog, you're so awesome.

win trolltron, who is next?
calkulus sucks

Uummmm.a youngster waitn4my services how nice.
I didn't know that there were so many 'smart' people on this site, it makes it feel much more sophisticated
